In honor of Mother’s Day and all the beautiful spring flowers, I thought I would post a work at home job about working in the floral industry.

1-800-FLOWERS.com is hiring customer service individuals to work at home as Home Agent Specialists. The positions are for In-bound customer service calls. The positions are part-time (for all but their peak periods) and for individuals who live in Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Ohio, NY, Texas, and Virginia.

Requirements include having a dedicated telephone line for incoming calls. You must use a corded phone - no cordless, cell phones, or VoIP is permitted. The normal work week is 6-10 hours but during peak period they expect their Home Agent Specialists to work 25-40 hours per week. Peak periods occur around some of the major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother’s Day were the workload increases tremendously.
